[Bug 1067929] Re: maas-region-celeryd connects to the wrong queue.
Andres says it was a missing =. It used to say: --queues celery, master and he's fixing it to say: --queues=celery,master More precisely, the script was using os.execv('celeryd',… , '-Q celery, master',…) and the space before 'celery' got escaped. I suggested using the alternative syntax (--queues=celery,master) to avoid any problems. ** Changed in: maas (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress = Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to maas in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067929 Title: maas-region-celeryd connects to the wrong queue. [Bug 1067779] [NEW] missing pam_loginuid.so breaks getlogin()
You have been subscribed to a public bug: getlogin() call in new glibc checks /proc/self/loginuid presence and trust its value as most safe source (due it's audit-related nature). But default /etc/pam.d/common-account doesn't contains entry to pam_loginuid.so which modify /proc/self/loginuid properly. [Bug 1068304] [NEW] ssh not using gnome-ssh-askpass
Public bug reported: When I run ssh, it prompts me for my private key's passphrase on the terminal, not in a separate window. If I run ssh again, it prompts again at the terminal. (By terminal I really mean an instance of gnome- terminal.) I expected the following behavior: When I run ssh the first time for this particular host, it should prompt for my passphrase in a new window. When I run ssh again after that, it should succeed without prompting at all. If I run env in the terminal, I see values for SSH_AGENT_PID and SSH_AUTH_SOCK as well as GNOME_KEYRING_CONTROL. If I run ps -ax I see both ssh-agent and gnome-keyring-daemon running. Finally, /etc/alternatives/ssh-askpass is linked to /usr/lib/openssh/gnome-ssh- askpass. If I run ssh-add explicitly to add the key, it also prompts me for my password at the terminal, but after that, ssh uses the unlocked key (that is, it no longer prompts for that key's passphrase). [Bug 1068383] [NEW] package reconfiguration could ask further configuration details
Public bug reported: Consider the following scenario: Region controller with 3 interfaces: eth1: 192.168.21.x eth2: 192.168.22.x eth3: 10.98.0.x Cluster controller with 2 interfaces: eth0: 192.168.20.x eth1: 10.98.0.x When I install the region controller, it autodetects 10.98.0.x (default route) as the PXE server for the RC. I run dpkg-reconfigure and change it to 192.168.21.5 which is the correct address When I install the cluster controller, it asks for the publicly accessible API of the MAAS server, which is http://10.98.0.90/MAAS Once the cluster controller is installed, the amqp address sent from the RC is 192.168.21.5, which is not accessible from the CC. So, the RC uses DEFAULT_MAAS_URL as the amqp address and if there are other clusters controllers connected to this MAAS server, they end up with the wrong address. Julian suggested that on dpkg-reconfigure more questions could be asked like the address of the RC pxe server and the webui/api/amqp address. ** Affects: maas (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to maas in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1068383 Title: package reconfiguration could ask further configuration details To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maas/+bug/1068383/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1064835] Re: keystoneclient fails on SSL certificates that work for other services
OK I have tracked this down. It looks to me that keystone-client is unusable with an an https keystone endpoint. If --os-cacert is not set it will default to an empty string. This then gets passed down to underlying http classes and it will use the empty string as the ca path. What needs to happen is that is this option is not set it needs to be set as None. That way httplib will use the default CA path but only if it is None, None != for this checking. ** Tags removed: cloud-archive ** Tags added: folsom-backport-potential -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to keystone in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1064835 Title: keystoneclient fails on SSL certificates that work for other services To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/python-keystoneclient/+bug/1064835/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Dropping it was inadvertent. [Bug 1068433] Re: Collecting and plotting the uptime is pointless
To me, the usefulness comes from the longer-term graphs (week, month, year) which show you how stable the system is and the average uptime.
