[Bug 1102366] [NEW] libapache2-mod-php5: Segmentation fault on mediawiki POST requests after apache2 reload

2013-01-21 Thread Philipp Kaluza
Public bug reported:

This is the affected following setup:
* apache2-mpm-worker
* libapache2-mod-php5
* mediawiki
(all from quantal in my case).

After doing /etc/init.d/apache2 reload, POST requests to mediawiki (e.g. page
preview or save) fail with a lost connection. The log files only show a line
like this:
[Mon Jan 21 12:21:06 2013] [notice] child pid 16018 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)

Doing /etc/init.d/apache2 restart works around the problem.

This seems to be the same as http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=691318 and possibly http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=694473 . I'm blaming PHP for now, in accordance
with the upstream reporters. :-)

Creating a backtrace from the apache child processes has proved quite
challenging, so I'm stopping here.

Thank you for your consideration,
  Philipp

[Bug 739495]

2013-01-21 Thread Adam-pierre-dany
+1 This feature could be very useful.

@Tomas Pospisek : For now you can use only do some cheat with a shell script.
For example having your configuration file in ~/.ssh/config.d and make that
type of alias:
alias ssh=cat ~/.ssh/config.d/* ~/.ssh/config ; ssh
It my way to keep my config file up-to-date.

I subscribe to this ticket.

(In reply to comment #2)
+1 I needed just this today

 The usecase is the following:

 * my employer is maintaining a ssh_config file that registers all
 machines
 * I have some settings and hosts of my own

How do I usefully integrate those two files?

[Bug 1096081] Re: server reboots because of php5 cron job

2013-01-21 Thread Thomas Ward
Hiya!

During my usual rounds of looking at bugs, I noticed this is set as In
Progress, but there's not sufficient work on this bug to set it as In
Progress.

Typically, we reserve In Progress status for bugs in which a fix is in
the process of being created. I've not seen any progress on this bug to
make it an In Progress bug, and am setting it back to New, because
this bug needs to be confirmed with the information you've provided
before it can have any progress on it. The other reason is that there
appears to me to be sufficient information to allow someone to be able
to test and confirm this bug, since you also attached the cron script
that you are using.

I'm subscribing to this bug so I can keep an eye on it. If anyone has
any more questions for the OP regarding steps to reproduce this bug,
please set the bug status to Incomplete. As well, if you are able to
confirm this bug with the information provided, please mark the bug as
Confirmed.

To the poster of the bug: If you provide more information, and the
status is set as Incomplete, please leave the bug as Incomplete
until we are able to determine whether the bug can be confirmed with all
the information, including any newly-provided information, that is
provided in the bug (or at the most, set it back to New). If it can
be confirmed by someone else with the new information you have provided,
then they can set it as Confirmed.

Thanks!

Oops, contrary to my last comment, to the original bug poster: If you

[Bug 1093428] Re: Cron job reports unable to load pdo_mysql.so

2013-01-21 Thread Matthew Spraggs
In the end I removed php5-cli, which seemed to fix things, so I imagine
the bug was a result of conflicting packages in some way.

[Bug 1098320] Re: ceph: default crush rule does not suit multi-OSD deployments

2013-01-21 Thread Paul Collins
This has been fixed on upstream's master branch by commit
c236a51a8040508ee893e4c64b206e40f9459a62 and cherry-picked to the
bobtail branch as 6008b1d8e4587d5a3aea60684b1d871401496942. The change
does not seem to have been applied to argonaut.

[Bug 1093428] Re: Cron job reports unable to load pdo_mysql.so

2013-01-21 Thread Ondřej Surý
The referrenced bug suggested that you have php binary installed in your
system elsewhere which is causing a clash of symbols between the
packaged version and the custom version you probably installed from
sources (or from dotdeb or from some other place in the universe).

I don't think there's a bug in the packaging.

[Bug 1098320] Re: ceph: default crush rule does not suit multi-OSD deployments

Is it important that this is backported to argonaut, given bobtail will
be in 13.04?

[Bug 1093428] Re: Cron job reports unable to load pdo_mysql.so

2013-01-21 Thread Matthew Spraggs
As far as I'm aware I haven't installed from anywhere other than the
normal repos. I certainly don't ever recall doing so. Though you are
probably right that there's a binary clash somewhere, it's just a
question of how it came about.

[Bug 1060404] Re: update-grub runs and fails in containers

2013-01-21 Thread Sebastian Hoffmann
I can't reproduce fix on precise. I've used ppa:juju/0.6 (r608), grub-pc
is ubuntu3.8, juju-origin: proposed, but I still get the same error.
