Hi Luke, Should this bug have been reported against nova project instead of python-novaclient? I don't see the type/image_type filter being implemented by novaclient. On a side note, testing against nova grizzly I was able to filter snapshots by requesting /images/detail?type=snapshot. The puppet version in Lucid is ancient, is no longer supported by upstream, and is substantially different from the puppet patches provided for later versions. Even if it was on the list, we wouldn't be able to update it since the recent security fixes have rewritten large parts of code. If migrating to a later LTS release isn't possible, I suggest perhaps using the upstream packages available from Puppet Labs. It's scheduled for next month, but that was based on the assumption that security patches were still being supplied for all of the installed software. It is notably complicated by the property that configuration files from Puppet 0.25 (from Lucid) and 2.7 (from Precise) are neither forward- nor backward- compatible, and thus requires coordinating the upgrade across the puppetmaster server as well as all client machines simultaneously. I'll also investigate if we can get the puppet version from Precise into lucid-backports. Hey Serge, were you able to get a reliable repro for this? I have a reason to upgrade to Raring, and this seems to be the only blocker. Charles, Thanks. I pushed that into the packaging branch for saucy. I looked today at separating grub-legacy-ec2 out of cloud-init and saw your repo at http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/pv-grub-menu.lst.git and the ITP at #6721024. I've done a bit of work here to get it to build and to fix some lintian errors. I wonder what your plans are for that (if any). Mainly, I'd like to get that code out of cloud-init's packaging tree and somewhere else, and it seems like you were possibly doing some of that also. I'm willing to do some of the grunt work, but will need the result to work as desired on ubuntu. Thoughts?
