Re: [Bug 1003296] Re: lightdm crashed with SIGSEGV in _pam_winbind_change_pwd() when password is expiring
AFAIK is already merged in samba main tree: ftp://ftp.samba.org/pub/unpacked/samba_3_current/WHATSNEW.txt (for 3.5.x) http://www.samba.org/samba/history/samba-3.6.9.html (for 3.6.x) So newer ubuntu versions like raring does already include this patch. [Bug 1188788] Re: Meta bug for tracking Openstack 2013.1.2 Stable Update
Please find the attached test log from the Ubuntu Server Team's CI infrastructure. As part of the verification process for this bug, the OpenStack components have been deployed and configured across multiple nodes using raring-proposed as an installation source. After successful bring-up and configuration of the cluster, a number of exercises and smoke tests have be invoked to ensure the updated package did not introduce any regressions. A number of test iterations were carried out to catch any possible transient errors. These proposed packages were deployed and tested in several different configurations. Attached are tarballs with various test logs from each configuration. In addition to the base components, variables in deployments include: raring_grizzly_nova-network: nova-network (FlatDHCP), glance (Ceph backend), cinder (Ceph backend) raring_grizzly_iscsi: nova-network (FlatDHCP), glance (local backend), cinder (iSCSI backend) raring_grizzly_quantum: quantum (OVS plugin), glance (Ceph backend), nova-volume (Ceph backend) Please note the versions_tested.txt file in each tarball, which contains details about relevant package versions installed and tested. For records of upstream test coverage of this update, please see the individual bug reports. As per the provisional Micro Release Exception granted to this package by the Technical Board, we hope this contributes toward verification of this update. ** Changed in: cloud-archive Status: New => Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nova in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1188788 Title: Meta bug for tracking Openstack 2013.1.2 Stable Update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1188788/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1194960] [NEW] unmatched entries for dovecot sieve deliveries when mailbox name contains whitespace
Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 13.04, using the stock dovecot and logwatch, I get unmatched entries for dovecot when sieve delivers into a mailbox that has whitespace in its name. The line which detects sieve deliveries (line 157) assumes that the mailbox name will not have whitespace: } elsif ( ($User, $Mailbox) = ( $ThisLine =~ /^$dovecottag (?:lda\(|deliver\(|lmtp\(\d+, )(.*)\): (?:[^:]+: )?sieve: msgid=.*: stored mail into mailbox '(\S+)'/ ) ) { It's quite possible to have whitespace in mailbox names. In my case, using a Thunderbird client with Dovecot IMAP will allow mailboxes with whitespace in the name to be created quite easily. This can be fixed by instead accepting non-single-quote characters in the mailbox name : } elsif ( ($User, $Mailbox) = ( $ThisLine =~ /^$dovecottag (?:lda\(|deliver\(|lmtp\(\d+, )(.*)\): (?:[^:]+: )?sieve: msgid=.*: stored mail into mailbox '([^']+)'/ ) ) { I've got this fix running on my mail server, and it clears up the unmatched sieve delivery entries I had been getting. ** Affects: logwatch (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to logwatch in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1194960 Title: unmatched entries for dovecot sieve deliveries when mailbox name contains whitespace To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/logwatch/+bug/1194960/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1068145] Re: Fix for CVE-2012-3867 (puppet) is too restrictive - TLS certificates now break
I've started the backport process here: https://bugs.launchpad.net /precise-backports/+bug/1194901 If anyone is interested in testing out the packages on either Precise, Quantal, or Raring and provide feedback on that backport request it would be greatly appreciated! This will also help speed up the backport approval process.
