[Bug 1181777] Re: kvm: freeze a guest with a NIC PCI passthrough
Would you be able to test this with upstream qemu? git clone git://git.qemu.org/qemu.git cd qemu ./configure --target-list=x86_64-softmmu make -j4 cd x86_64-softmmu ./qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -m 512 -device pci-assign,host=03:00.1 -boot d If that works, then we just need to look for the commit which fixed it. If not, then either there is an existing bug upstream, or some bios setting is likely not right on your system. ** Changed in: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to qemu-kvm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181777 Title: kvm: freeze a guest with a NIC PCI passthrough To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm/+bug/1181777/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1182898] Re: Please support `juju --version`
I had a fix for this, but it turns out you can't have a global var and a command var with the same options. So "juju upgrade-juju --version" is already using the '--version' name. And the global one wants to be a Bool while the command level one wants to be a string. So at this point, I don't have a great fix, so I'm rolling back my change (otherwise upgrade-juju is broken) and re-opening this bug. ** Changed in: juju-core Status: Fix Committed => Triaged ** Changed in: juju-core Assignee: John A Meinel (jameinel) => (unassigned) ** Changed in: juju-core Milestone: 1.11.2 => None -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to juju-core in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1182898 Title: Please support `juju --version` To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/juju-core/+bug/1182898/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1199791] [NEW] nova-compute-xcp misses nova-compute.conf
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Ubuntu Precise in the XCP Paravirtualized VM and OpenStack Grizzly from Ubuntu Cloud Archive The package nova-compute-xcp does not contain the file /etc/nova/nova- compute.conf This results to nova-compute being unable to run because the upstart script /etc/init/nova-compute.conf tries to start nova-compute with the following command: exec start-stop-daemon --start --chuid nova --exec /usr/bin/nova-compute -- --config-file=/etc/nova/nova.conf --config-file=/etc/nova/nova-compute.conf No error is logged so it is a bit hard to track down the cause of the problem.
