[Bug 986747] Re: Config file gets mangled
I did not have duplicate entries in my list - checked with sort | uniq -c. didn't check the autogenerated list for dupes; just pointed to the non-autogenerated in squid-deb-proxy.conf, and poof, problem resolved. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to squid-deb-proxy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/986747 Title: Config file gets mangled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/squid-deb-proxy/+bug/986747/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 700492] Re: ntp complains about ipv6 errors every 5 minutes
** Description changed: Binary package hint: ntp - - I believe this is a duplicate of bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ntp/+bug/569919, which has a status of "Fix Released" - But I have the fix, and the problem still occurs. Every 5 minutes, ntpd complains about being unable to create a socked on an ipv6 address. I'm running a new installation of Maverick 10.10. Here is my syslog: Jan 8 04:05:01 pgfs ntpd[2608]: synchronized to 91.189.94.4, stratum 2 Jan 8 04:05:01 pgfs ntpd[2608]: kernel time sync status change 2001 Jan 8 04:05:42 pgfs ntpd[2608]: bind() fd 22, family AF_INET6, port 123, scope 4, addr fe80::217:31ff:fef8:f63f, mcast=0 flags=0x11 fails: Cannot assign requested address Jan 8 04:05:42 pgfs ntpd[2608]: unable to create socket on bond0 (8) for fe80::217:31ff:fef8:f63f#123 Jan 8 04:05:42 pgfs ntpd[2608]: failed to initialize interface for address fe80::217:31ff:fef8:f63f Jan 8 04:10:42 pgfs ntpd[2608]: bind() fd 22, family AF_INET6, port 123, scope 4, addr fe80::217:31ff:fef8:f63f, mcast=0 flags=0x11 fails: Cannot assign requested address Jan 8 04:10:42 pgfs ntpd[2608]: unable to create socket on bond0 (9) for fe80::217:31ff:fef8:f63f#123 Jan 8 04:10:42 pgfs ntpd[2608]: failed to initialize interface for address fe80::217:31ff:fef8:f63f I'm running ntp 1:4.2.4p8+dfsg-1ubuntu6. [Bug 1202839] Re: qemu-bridge-helper missing from qemu-kvm or elsewhere
It is great to have the qemu-bridge-helper binary though if someone like me does not want to use libvirt. With a note in a README in /usr/share/doc/ signaling the suid or cap_net_admin was missing, it would be more useful than just removing the binary. In quantal, adding the right permission was easy. In raring I had to take the binary from quantal distribution (hopefully the binary and linked libraries are compatible). So please consider to add the binary again in some package since someone could easily install the package and add the permission to qemu-bridge- helper if one wants to do it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to qemu-kvm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1202839 Title: qemu-bridge-helper missing from qemu-kvm or elsewhere To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm/+bug/1202839/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
