[Bug 1281009] [NEW] add out of the box file sharing support (samba) for Ubuntu with GUI
You have been subscribed to a public bug: File sharing between Ubuntu and Windows PCs is a bit of a struggle. One cannot get it up and running without searching online for a solution. Also there is always a bit of commandline involved in the process. It would be better, if the required GUI and the dependencies are installed by default for Ubuntu . Even if the dependencies are not involved, during setup of file share, the system should prompt for the required dependencies which can be installed from the Ubuntu Software Center. ** Affects: samba (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- add out of the box file sharing support (samba) for Ubuntu with GUI https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1281009 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1280944] Re: package openssh-server 1:5.9p1-5ubuntu1.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. If this is indeed a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community Or if you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful to read How to report bugs effectively http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. ** Changed in: openssh (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid ** Changed in: openssh (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openssh in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1280944 Title: package openssh-server 1:5.9p1-5ubuntu1.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/1280944/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1281306] [NEW] version bump request
Public bug reported: I just want to flag that I've released a new version of GPT fdisk (gdisk) today: 0.8.9.
