[Bug 1384109] Re: Mechanism driver 'l2population' failed in update_port_postcommit

2014-11-24 Thread Eugene Nikanorov
I would ask to attach neutron-server logs for this issue, if it's
possible.

I don't think this bug has many chances to be fixed unless someone could
investigate it further on scale and provide debug-level logs.

[Bug 1265877] Re: nova fails to launch i386 images

2014-11-24 Thread James Page
I suspect some sort of i386 != i686 mismatch here. Retaining the
ImagePropertiesFilter is important for mix architecture envs, so we need
to get that matching sorted.

[Bug 1024475] Re: libnss-ldap causes boot hang on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise

2014-11-24 Thread Lumen
#1 worked for me, but now I have to set the groups manually which kind of
defeats the purpose (fortunately they don't change much).
#17 did not work.
I also tested libpam-ldap on a ubuntu server (static ip, no network-manager)
without having any problems,
so the timing of the upcoming network connection could be the source of the
problem.
This bug was reported 1 1/2 years ago and and it is still broken, not even
assigned to anyone...so abysmal.

[Bug 1095181] Re: terrible breakage on git rebase

2014-11-24 Thread Raman Gupta
Rolf, I had this issue too. The problem is that etckeeper updates the
.etckeeper file in a pre-commit hook (this file is necessary because git
does not store the owner and permissions directly).

When you are rebasing, somehow the pre-commit hook interacts badly with
the rebase. However, its quite easy to fix: when a rebased commit shows
a conflict in .etckeeper, simply do:

etckeeper pre-commit

This will run the pre-commit hook explicitly and update the .etckeeper
file for the current commit, and then rebase --continue will work fine.

Some relevant information about why the etckeeper pre-commit hook may be
giving weird results / conflicts with the rebase:

http://git.661346.n2.nabble.com/rebase-i-reword-runs-pre-commit-hook-
with-curious-results-td7244648.html

I also posted a question on
https://joeyh.name/code/etckeeper/discussion/ about this.

[Bug 1354745] Re: umask 111 in envvars

2014-11-24 Thread Ryan
I was having problems with mediawiki uploading files to ./images

I tried the following:

chmod -R 777 ./images
chown -R www-data ./images

Neither worked or had an effect.

I found the umask 111 at the bottom of /etc/apache2/envvars

It was not until I removed this that uploads started working properly.

I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and did a LAMP install. So, this bug still exists.

[Bug 1292234] Re: qcow2 image corruption in trusty (qemu 1.7 and 2.0 candidate)

Looking at just the QCowHeader (and not de-scrambling BE format), I see
the following differences; however I think this looks 'ok', I'll need to
examine the rest of the file.

[Bug 1354745] Re: umask 111 in envvars

2014-11-24 Thread OwN
It's not a bug with the package.

I found that the EHCP (http://www.ehcp.net) installer adds the line by
default during installation. It is because the author of the original
EHCP believes it is correct, when it is in fact incorrect.

I suggest using the forked version of EHCP which works much better and
actually works properly.

Information can be found here: http://ehcpforce.tk/
