[Bug 1418265] [NEW] Memory leak when using pam_ldap in long running processes
You have been subscribed to a public bug: We're experiencing fairly significant memory leaks when using pam_ldap when used from nginx. After some preliminary investigation it seems to be similar to the redhat issue 660236: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=660236 The symptoms are substantial amounts of memory being leaked per request when the pam_authenticate call is used. Great, thanks for the update. I frankly don't know what causes these cases. They seem to happen with random packages. i also don't know what to mark the bug, as I'm quite certain it wasn't in cgmanager and was worked around rather than fixed - but i'll mark it fix released. This was found in bug 1407699. * on precise juju uses the cloud tools archive (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerTeam/CloudToolsArchive) * precise's version of cloud-init depends on cloud-utils * Juju began installing cloud-image-utils. * cloud-image-utils conflicts with cloud-utils. cloud-image-utils was just a re-packaging for dependency shrink and so it conflicts with older versions of cloud-utils which would include the same set of files. thanks for submitting this bug. Could you tell us how you created the container? You should be able to solve this by adding lxc.mount.auto = sys as the first line of your configuration file.
