[Bug 1483885] Re: [needs-packaging] 1.22.8 is not packaged in trusty
We do not want this version is wily because bug 1481556 tracks our request to put 1.24.x into wily, which offers systemd support. The code change is small. Note that the html test files were removed from the release tarfile. The tests are not needed, and in older versions of juju, they were purged because they were ambiguously licensed. We decided we want consistent rules for creating tarfiles. ** Patch added: source code changes from 1.22.6 to 1.22.8 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/juju-core/+bug/1483885/+attachment/4443070/+files/1.22.6-1.22.8-orig.diff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to juju-core in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483885 Title: [needs-packaging] 1.22.8 is not packaged in trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/juju-core/+bug/1483885/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1483093] Re: .archive.ubuntu.com is non inclusive
Thanks José. I wonder if this is something that only occurs when using DNS-based redirection as opposed to hitting squid-deb-proxy directly by client proxy configuration? Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. Specifically you appear to have manually deleted /etc/nagios3 so nagios3 cannot be expected to work. Try purging (not just removing) nagios3-related packages and reinstalling. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community Or if you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful to read How to report bugs effectively http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. ** Changed in: nagios3 (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nagios3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483606 Title: package nagios3-common 3.5.1-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: le sous-processus script post-installation installé a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nagios3/+bug/1483606/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1483751] [NEW] Issues traversing a sftp server when files or folders contain the character ]
Public bug reported: I am unsure if the bug is with openssh sftp client or within openssh- sftp-server When traversing an sftp server, I encounter issues for files and, in particular, directories containing the character ]. Tab completion does not escape the character in sftp shell, however, in bash it will escape the character for tab completion. [Bug 1481337] Re: please update keepalived to version 1.2.17 or higher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. In Ubuntu we do not update stable releases with new upstream versions in order to keep stable releases stable, and keepalived in Ubuntu does not currently have an exception on this. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates for the policy and rationale. We can still fix specific issues by backporting their fixes from newer upstream releases, so I'll turn this bug into one to track the specific issue you're facing. We can have a separate bug to track the update of keepalived in the development release of Ubuntu (currently Wily) to a newer upstream release, but it doesn't sound like that'll help you since your focus is currently on 14.04. ** Summary changed: - please update keepalived to version 1.2.17 or higher + keepalived makes a floating IP available on more than one host after configuration reload ** Tags added: server-next -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to keepalived in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1481337 Title: keepalived makes a floating IP available on more than one host after configuration reload To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/keepalived/+bug/1481337/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 1483214] Re: ipmi_si module spams kernel log with ipmi_si 00:05: Could not set the global enables: 0xcc.
SRU Justtification Impact: The driver code changed in 3.19 to do periodic checks on irq and message settings commit d9b7e4f717a167610a49ceb9e5969e80146c89a8 ipmi: Periodically check to see if irqs and messages are set right This causes repeated error messages in the logs for certain BMCs which do not allow to disable the irq mode in the global config even when they do not support irqs. Fix: Cherry-pick upstream commit 1e7d6a45f6b10bc48a1453bca3d829e210546571 which adds a quirk to detect this situation and avoids touching those bits. This was done in 4.0, so the only affected kernel is 3.19. Testcase: With an affected BMC and without the patch, errors repeatedly get logged. Michael, please see comments in bug 1435283 which iiuc is the same issue (so essentially a duplicate). Comment #11 explains one possible solution to the problem. Essentially what we want is for Juju to pick a port/interface on unit start and remember it (e.g. by uuid) so that if extra ports/interfaces are added to that unit, the private address should always be derived from that remembered port/interface. [Bug 1483923] Re: dpkg-divert breaks nginx installation
I'm going to take a wild guess that the issue is because vivid's nginx- common.postinst has this line: invoke-rc.d nginx start || exit $? Which will make postinst fail if nginx fails to start for the first time. 15.04: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu- branches/ubuntu/vivid/nginx/vivid/view/head:/debian/nginx-core.postinst 14.04 did not have this behaviour: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu- branches/ubuntu/trusty/nginx/trusty/view/head:/debian/nginx- common.postinst -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nginx in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483923 Title: dpkg-divert breaks nginx installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nginx/+bug/1483923/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
