Can you show the xml for the libvirt managed nfs storage and for the VM?

The virt-aa-helper policy has

Which I suspect should prevent this from happening, so I will target
this at apparmor.

When trying to fix this yourself...

(1) Check the output of one of these two commands:

'sudo netstat -tulpn | grep :80'   OR'sudo ss -tulpn | grep
:80'

This will indicate what processes are listening on IP/Port combination
*:80


(2) Once you know the process/pid that is listening on Port 80, kill it.  
Either stop the service (for example, if Apache is the one causing the 
conflict, use `sudo service apache2 stop`), or kill the process itself.


If you intend to use things side by side, such as Apache *and* nginx, 
temporarily stop one service while installing the other.  Then modify your 
configurations so neither service is listening on the same ports as each other, 
and start up the services.  This will resolve the issues.

I found the configuration problem of Glance, that caused glance-registry
to work in an unauthenticated context, as a consequence not to record
image owners via API v1. That means I could fix  my immediate problem of
orphaned snapshots created by Nova.

Nevertheless, I think as the installation guide points to API v2, so all
end user clients are adjusted that way, Nova should also prefer Glance
v2, and make inconsistent behavior less likely.

I'm having the exact same problem. First time I was experiencing this
issue was about a year ago when I was setting up a new Server based on
Ubuntu 14.04. I was not sure whether it was a bug in Samba or a problem
womewhere else. My Solution at that time was going back to 12.04 with
Samba 3.6.3 which stills works fine.

Now, for different reasons I thought about upgrading to 14.04 and was hoping to 
find this bug gone. It's a shame that it's still existing.
I also tried setting up Samba on a Debian server and even compiled the newest 
Samba version 4.3.1 with no remedy.

I assume it is maybe not a problem based in Ubuntu or Debian but only
within the Samba sources.

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade?  Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.3 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

In re to #7/#8, the handling of selections from backports will _NOT_ be
changed.

Users will have to specifically opt-in to selecting packages.

i.e to get regular ansible:
   $ sudo apt-get install ansible 

Whereas are the following examples are valid for pulling from backports
  $ sudo apt-get -t trusty-backports  install ansible
  $ sudo apt-get install lxd/trusty-backports

This is a master bug for all package-type nginx bugs with
install/upgrade failures as a result of port 80 being already used by
another process.

This is not a bug - this is an issue in which the system you are
installing NGINX on already has something else listening on port 80.

To fix this issue, you need to first find what is listening on Port 80,
and turn it off.  At that time, either install NGINX or use 'apt-get
install -f' to try and finish configuration.
