[Bug 1287339] Re: Using "ipsec start|stop" confuses upstart

2016-01-24 Thread Simon Déziel
With Strongswan 5.1.2-0ubuntu8 on Ubuntu Xenial, things have improved
slightly. systemd will notice if one runs "ipsec stop". Previously,
upstart was unable to figure it out and would re-spawn the service.

One problem remains with systemd: If you "ipsec start" while the systemd
service is not running, the resulting daemons will not be tracked by
systemd.

[Bug 1537528] [NEW] byobu-config segfault with screen backend

2016-01-24 Thread Nick B.
Public bug reported:

When running byobu with the screen backend byobu-config segfaults when
trying to open it by pressing F9.

Steps to reproduce.

1. Configure byobu to use screen for the backend
2. Press F9 to open the configuration menu
3. The console flashes then returns to your shell window.

Running byobu-config manually within a byobu screen session shows it's
segfaulting. It does not crash running it outside of screen.

[Bug 1483615] Re: usbhid-ups driver segfaults on discovery of UPS

2016-01-24 Thread Charles Lepple
@davis65536: I think we might have a lead on this. Are you running in a
VM?

https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/258

The APC portion of usbhid-ups expects that if it can open the device, it
can read the string descriptors. Your system is printing "unknown" for
the Manufacturer, Product and Serial Number lines for your UPS. IMHO
this is also a bug elsewhere (libusb, kernel or hypervisor?) since the
Product string is the easiest way to distinguish between the various
051d:0002 USB devices, though I agree that the driver should be more
robust.

Can you see the APC vendor string if you run "lsusb -vvv -d051d:" as
root?

[Bug 1432644] Re: VM permanently tries to read /dev/shm/lttng-ust-wait-5

2016-01-24 Thread Paz
Hi All

We had the same issue, but in our end it was misconfiguration of the key.
Make sure that the key you see in trace log is indeed the key you have in
/etc/ceph/ceph.client.cinder.keying, if not try to fix in
/etc/libvirt/secrets/, and reload with virsh secret define.
If it configured OK, make sure that it also configured on ceph cluster (ceph
auth list).

[Bug 1514794] Re: package:strongswan-plugin-farp may need apparmor config change

2016-01-24 Thread Simon Déziel
@Steven, is this still an issue? The diff you showed includes "# network
all," but this is not in the released version of charon's profile. Maybe
you had a locally modified profile when you ran into the issue?

Since the charon's profile in Trusty allows all networking, I don't
think that adding "network packet dgram," makes sense. Would you mind
confirm if the problem happened with the stock profile or not?
