[Bug 1546735] Re: openipmi package compile without SSL

2016-03-31 Thread Brian Murray
Thanks for uploading the fix for this bug report to -proposed. However,
when reviewing the package in -proposed and the details of this bug
report I noticed that the bug description is missing information
required for the SRU process. You can find full details at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure but essentially
this bug is missing some of the following: a statement of impact, a test
case and details regarding the regression potential. Thanks in advance!

[Bug 1549316] Re: %G in logon script does not work

2016-03-03 Thread Brian Murray
Could you be more explicit about which versions of samba it did and did
not work with?

Do you install a version of samba from -updates and the behavior
changed?

Did you just upgrade to 14.04 and notice this?

Thanks!

[Bug 1544612] Re: Missing fix for 1299975 claimed to be in pm-utils (1.4.1-13ubuntu0.1)

2016-02-11 Thread Brian Murray
The patch, as one can see athttps://launchpadlibrarian.net/179682498/pm-
utils_1.4.1-13_1.4.1-13ubuntu0.1.diff.gz,  actually makes the following
change:

+-[ "$(cat /sys/class/net/$1/device/enable)" = "1" ] || return 1
++[ "$(cat /sys/class/net/$1/device/enabled)" = "1" ] || return 1

So the patch is applied, but it seems to be wrong as there is no
"enabled" sys file now.

successfully and the package has now been released to -updates.
Subsequently, the Ubuntu Stable Release Updates Team is being
unsubscribed and will not receive messages about this bug report. In
the event that you encounter a regression using the package from
-updates please report a new bug using ubuntu-bug and tag the bug report
regression-update so we can easily find any regressions.
