I thought this was resolved with some update, since it started working some weeks ago. But from these comments I understand that it isn't. :-) I remembered that I used to have an eth0:1 interface and just tried it again. The problem returns when the interface eth0:1 is up. Hi, I installed a maverick UEC. I have 1 system with clc,cc,sc,walrus
and another with nc. when attach a volume to a running instance no
error is show but a can't see the second disk with fdisk -l. I verify

Hi! I'm running apache2 on Ubuntu Server 10.04. Looking at /etc/cron.d/awstats I can see that awstats runs as www-data: # cat /etc/cron.d/awstats 0,10,20,30,40,50 * * * * www-data [ -x /usr/lib/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -a -f /etc/awstats/awstats.conf -a -r /var/log/apache2/access.log ] /usr/lib/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -config=awstats -update /dev/null But, permissions on /var/log/apache2 are insufficient to let awstats do it's job: drwxr-x--- 2 root adm apache2 (others can't access to that directory) IDEM with the access.log file: -rw-r- 1 root adm access.log (others can't access to that file) One possible solution is to run the awstats cron job as root. Other possible solution is to change files and directories permissions. I just installed the latest 10.04 (including updates) and the same problem happened to me. In case someone might find this information useful, this is how I fixed it: In file /etc/init/smbd.conf change this: start on local-filesystems into this: start on (local-filesystems and net-device-up IFACE!=lo) (which is how nmbd is also started, btw). +1 for changing Wishlist to Bug, as this is a regression. I remember having the exact issue several years ago in slackware with mysql installed by hand, but ubuntu never had this problem.
