[Bug 1248054] Re: [SRU] dlm package installation fails
Changing daemon $prog $DLM_CONTROLD_OPTS to start_daemon $prog $DLM_CONTROLD_OPTS doesn't seem constructive. The dependency on the `daemon` binary seems to be missing and I don't see it added in the `debdiff` for `wily` (and didn't check the others). As a workaround manually install `daemon` on `wily`. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dlm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1248054 Title: [SRU] dlm package installation fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dlm/+bug/1248054/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1447755] Re: Provide default configuration files for transport, virtual, etc.
I don't think that providing the example configuration files would obviate the need to use the documentation. No one ever said anything pointing in that direction! If you use the documentation, then you don't need the sample files. Agreed, but no argument against my proposal. Also, there's no requirement that those file names be used. Don't understand that point neither. Just add commented pointers in `main.cf` Co. The fact that included and referenced configuration files can be named differently is quite self-explanatory (why would we write pathes into configuration files otherwise?). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to postfix in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1447755 Title: Provide default configuration files for transport, virtual, etc. To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postfix/+bug/1447755/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1424237] [NEW] missing manpage for bridge.conf

There should be a mechanism which overcomes the usage of `update- exim4.conf` (which currently creates files somewhere in `/var/` which doesn't make a lot of sense) simply using `exim4.conf` and `conf.d/` exclusively allowing to delete `exim4.conf.template` and `update- exim4.conf.conf` which is consufing for no reason if no used (maybe put it in an extra package even). ** Affects: exim4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to exim4 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1376163 Title: /etc/exim4/exim4.conf not created, but splitted files are, when file splitting is disabled in debconf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/exim4/+bug/1376163/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1332988] [NEW] kdb5_util create and krb5_newrealm fail due to existing /var/lib/krb5kdc/principal/wrong error message
Public bug reported: The invokation of both LANG=C kdb5_util -r example.com create # with 'example.com' != `hostname` # and LANG=C krb5_newrealm fail with `kdb5_util: File exists while creating database '/etc/krb5kdc/principal'` (both with complex password `KPZp*4=pzx^ZGnI- dacjWaOO2` and simple password `a`. This password will be used to generate a key that is stored in /etc/krb5kdc/stash. You should try to remember this password, but it is much more important that it be a strong password than that it be remembered. However, if you lose the password and /etc/krb5kdc/stash, you cannot decrypt your Kerberos database. Loading random data Initializing database '/var/lib/krb5kdc/principal' for realm 'richter-local.de', master key name 'K/m...@richter-local.de' You will be prompted for the database Master Password. It is important that you NOT FORGET this password.
