This bug should be fixed in a new version upload to natty, and evtl. we
could SRU a patch for Maverick and Lucid.

2010-09-12 Thread Stephan Hermann
Hi,

did you try to do this:

sudo ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f frontend.lan.local.ldif

Could be that you are missing some acls for cn=admin

[Bug 589611] Re: client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23)

2010-06-04 Thread Stephan Hermann
Ralf,

but the client sends the http request headers with an empty Hostname: header or
did I miss something,
if Hostname header is not set it's http/1.0 ... I wonder if it's a client
problem

[Bug 533508] Re: apache2 crashed with SIGSEGV in sapi_getenv()

2010-03-15 Thread Stephan Hermann
Hi guys,

the duplicate is wrong here...it's a bug in PHP5 actually not able to add
include_paths in addititional configs for php5 when include_path is not
uncomment in php.ini.

Read about it here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=497453

I'll move the bug to the php5 package where it belongs.

Regards,

[Bug 230393] Re: Mysql socket file breaks PHP/Perl/etc...

2008-05-14 Thread Stephan Hermann
TBH,

I think it's more a bug in the perl/php stuff then in mysql.
The socket file should sit in /var/run/mysqld and not in /tmp/
More detail:
We should fix the packages which are looking for the socket file in /tmp then
symlinking the socket file to /tmp.
It's a good workaround for the time now, but not for the future.

But that's me...what about our -server/ core devs? Any advise?
