[Bug 1257186] Re: memory leakage messages (no talloc stackframe)
I'm using netatalk as well, and this bug was causing /run/samba/gencache_notrans.tdb to grow to several hundred MB until /run was out of space. According to tdbtool the database itself was basically empty, but it was still taking up disk even after a repack. Disabling the module with pam-auth-update looks to have fixed the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1257186 Title: memory leakage messages (no talloc stackframe) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/samba/+bug/1257186/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 494141] Re: CUPS starts after SAMBA; printers are not available (convert cups to upstart)
Very frustrating until I saw this post. Confrimed for me in 11.04. My machine had had very high uptimes so I did not notice until my UPS went recently and I would loose printers on reboots. I was blindly hacking my smb.conf until this post. rc.local with /sbin/reload smbd is my workaround -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/494141 Title: CUPS starts after SAMBA; printers are not available (convert cups to upstart) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/494141/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
