RE: [Bug 433483] Re: package postfix 2.5.5-1.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Bingo - we had a karmic test on one machine. A copy from that could have been used. The person responsible has the memory of a goldfish. My apologies. Thanks you for responding. RE: [Bug 433483] Re: package postfix 2.5.5-1.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
I have postfix v2.5.5-1.1 running on 9.04 on three machines. Each had the same error. Upon this error only purging postfix and the installing postfix new works. -Original Message- From: boun...@canonical.com [mailto:boun...@canonical.com] On Behalf Of Andreas Olsson Sent: Sunday, October 04, 2009 2:30 PM To: mich...@alft.net Subject: [Bug 433483] Re: package postfix 2.5.5-1.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 /usr/sbin/postconf: warning: multi_instance_directories: unknown parameter /usr/sbin/postconf: warning: multi_instance_directories: unknown parameter /bin/sh: Can't open /usr/lib/postfix/post-install postfix/postfix-script: warning: unable to create missing queue directories postfix/postfix-script: fatal: Postfix integrity check failed!
