[Bug 1553221] [NEW] Very slow connecting to various sites
Public bug reported: First of all - not at all sure if this is the right thing to report this against. I've had issues since I upgraded various xenial packages this morning, to note a few thunderbird - long time connecting to imap.gmx.com very long waits while it retrieves bug information from launchpad very long waits retrieving mails from lists.ubuntu.com/mailman firefox - long waits retrieving pages launchpad pages I use bamboo feed reader in firefox - that wasn't updating any feeds I noted that the following all got upgrades this morning: bind9-host_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 dnsutils_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 libbind9-140_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 libdns162_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 libisc160_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 libisccc140_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 libisccfg140_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 liblwres141_1%3a9.10.3.dfsg.P2-4 all to P2-5 I downgraded all of those packages - now no longer seeing the above issues.
