[Bug 1503418] Re: [SRU] [REGRESSION] launching byobu from unity uses the terminal icon rather than the application icon

2015-11-15 Thread zoolook
Please, do not release this fix. It breaks gnome-terminal now.

When I click the gnome-terminal icon, the byobu's icon shows up, which
is counter intuitive, ugly, and looks unprofessional.

[Bug 607636] Re: chardev: opening backend pty failed

2010-12-10 Thread zoolook
Hello,

I had qemu-kvm working flawless and then I installed lxc.

I can reproduce this bug *always* in maverick doing this:

start lxc domain
start kvm guest

$ virsh start kvm-windsurf
chardev: opening backend pty failed

Does it work if you remount the directory?

$ sudo mount -o remount /dev/pts
$ virsh start kvm-windsurf
Se ha iniciado el dominio kvm-windsurf

(more or less: domain kvm-windsurf started)

So yes. It's a workaround for now.

Thanks!

[Bug 609651] Re: compile OpenLDAP with OpenSSL

2010-07-25 Thread zoolook
Rationale: I cannot use certs that were working with openldap from
hardy. Is there a tool to convert those certs to gnutls?

Debian patches: remember 2008? I hope they do a better work this time.

Licensing: at least Apache, Cyrus IMAPd, and Postfix, are compiled
against OpenSSL. Why cannot OpenLDAP?

with this version:

after I fixed YOUR broken acls:

YOU ARE GOING TO DO!

NEVER!

Yes. I'm VERY angry, and I think I have the right to be. These changes
are expected on alphas, maybe betas, BUT NEVER on RCs!

[Bug 452712] Re: qemu-kvm 0.11.0-0ubuntu5, virtualized proxy, useless

2009-10-16 Thread zoolook
Hello Dustin,

It was working with:

linux-image-2.6.31-14-generic 2.6.31-14.46
kvm 1:84+dfsg-0ubuntu16
qemu 0.10.6-1ubuntu1

Doesn't work with:

linux-image-2.6.31-14-generic 2.6.31-14.47
qemu-kvm 0.11.0-0ubuntu5

Is there any way to reinstall those packages? (unfortunately, I did aptitude
clean...)

Thanks,
Norberto

[Bug 452712] Re: qemu-kvm 0.11.0-0ubuntu5, virtualized proxy, useless

2009-10-16 Thread zoolook
It seems that -from my logs (/var/log/aptitude* and /var/log/apt/term*)-
I was actually running kvm 1:84+dfsg-0ubuntu12.3 and qemu wasn't
installed (?)

Log started: 2009-10-15 12:45:01

and the only log of a kvm upgrade is:

Preparing to replace kvm 1:84+dfsg-0ubuntu12 (using

This is crazy, I thought this box was up-to-date (the packages I describe in
the other post are from a box I have at work.)

And BTW. It seems ip packets go thru the virtualized proxy, but they're mangled
or dropped. If you can show me how to correctly capture the necessary info with
tcpdump or another tool, I'll post a dump.
