[Bug 1016971] Re: package postfix 2.8.5-2~build1 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 75
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This looks like a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu. As such, I'm marking this bug as Invalid. Specifically, you seem to have set your hostname to something with a space in it, which is invalid. You can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community If you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful to read How to report bugs effectively http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, and then change the bug status back to New. Thanks! ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to postfix in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1016971 Title: package postfix 2.8.5-2~build1 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 75 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postfix/+bug/1016971/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
