[Bug 1040139] Re: keystone upgrade fails due to mysql not being available

2014-03-07 Thread James Page
This is a specific issue when both mysql and keystone are installed on
the same server; apt has no way of knowing that mysql must be running
for the keystone update to successfully configure.

** Changed in: keystone (Ubuntu)
   Status: Confirmed = Triaged

** Summary changed:

- keystone upgrade fails due to mysql not being available
+ keystone upgrade fails due to mysql not being available when both installed
on the same server

[Bug 1040139] Re: keystone upgrade fails due to mysql not being available

2012-12-17 Thread David Kranz
I just ran into this after 'apt-get update' and 'apt-get upgrade' to get
the new stable versions of Folsom. IMO, if those two steps are the
endorsed way to do that upgrade, I don't see how this bug could be
considered not high priority.

2012-08-29 Thread Serge Hallyn
Thanks for reporting this bug. I would mark it high priority, as apt-
get -f install is a workaround I'll lower that to medium.
