Thank you for reporting this. I tested against cloud images which already pull in python-yaml due to cloud-init depending on it. Sorry I missed it for the desktop case. Fixed in upstream trunk rev 49. I still need to push an updated package to Trusty. We can also SRU this to Saucy if required. I will certainly bundle it with any other SRU, but don't have anything else that needs to be fixed in Saucy (yet, at least).
