The fix needs to go into the development release first, which just happened. Then it can be SRU'd (Stable Release Update) to stable releases. The main blocker is that docker containers are hitted by https://github.com/dotcloud/docker/issues/2278 where lxc-attach can no longer attach to them. Thanks - I assume that the docker containers are started with 'lxc-start ... -f cofnigfile'. That is the trigger for the use of the anon lxcpath, which also caused autostart to fail. The git commit you cite is indeed the fix for this.
