The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/1.0.7-0ubuntu0.3 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Hi, thanks for pointing that out. The trusty package appears to be subtly different - its src/lxc/lxclock.c creates /run/lxc/lock/$lxcpath/$lxcname.
