[Bug 1490361] Re: IncompatibleObjectVersion: Version 1.2 of PciDeviceList is not supported
I had the same issue after upgrading nova components. The issue was that nova-conductor and nova-compute services did not use the same version. I upgraded using apt-get upgrade but it didn't seem to update nova- conductor. After a apt-get -f upgrade nova-conductor the nova-conductor package was upgraded to same version as nova-compute and then it worked. Confirm by checking the package versions (dpkg -l | grep nova). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nova in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1490361 Title: IncompatibleObjectVersion: Version 1.2 of PciDeviceList is not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nova/+bug/1490361/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 1490361] Re: IncompatibleObjectVersion: Version 1.2 of PciDeviceList is not supported
I've run into this yesterday, right after nova-compute upgrade to 2015.1.1 on all compute nodes in my environment. Turned out that openstack-nova 2015.1.0 (scheduler or perhaps one of its dependencies?) on controller is not something that nova-compute 2015.1.1 on compute nodes can live with! Upgrading openstack-nova* and all of its dependencies on a controller to 2015.1.1 fixed the thing.
