Hi chuck, no, password safe is only an example (happens also with Open Office Files, eclipse [my c source files], gimp [images]). Seems to be with every application that uses the Fileserver (see also bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/321568 There my backgroundpicture is locked after reboot the client. Hi again, now i have turned on massive debugging and voilá...i have attached the logfile. What happens ? I open the file passwordsafe.PSAFE3 on the client and shutdown the client. After reboot i open the file again wuith result, that the client hangs (also local access to the file did'nt work). Also the smbd-Process on the sambaserver hangs (i have to kill -KILL it).
