This bug certainly was real, but it has been a long time since I've seen
this bug.  Does anyone still see this?  (Will mark this Incomplete so
that if noone responds it should Expire eventually.  If it can still be
reproduced then it should be re-marked Confirmed)

Thanks for the great bug report, Sam.  Confirmed, it didn't take long to lock up
on my lucid laptop either.

kvm itself doesn't crash - you can hit ctrl-alt-2 to go to the monitor, and type
'sendkey alt-sysrq-b' to reboot the vm for instance.

Note that once maverick is installed in a kvm instance, I can't get that
to lock up.
