if this is some intent to block malware, people need to know that its web scripts that are the cause of 99% of the windows malware plague... and for some reason, they do not work on linux or OSX systems. David, This is not a bug, it's a feature. According to upstream you can disable NX Bit using the kernel flag noexec=off and noexec32=off, if you still have problems, disable it in your CPU too using your BIOS. Please also refrain from making false statements about other operating systems on Launchpad.
