[Bug 877549] Re: [MIR] jython build dependencies
libbsf-java: jython integration already disabled; removed dependencies libmx4j-java: remove jython dependencies; disables the ability of run python through a JMX interfaces - unable to find and rdeps which use both this package and jython. Marking all tasks 'Invalid' as jython can now be demoted to universe along with other un-used dependencies. ** Changed in: antlr3 (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid ** Changed in: libconstantine-java (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid ** Changed in: libjna-java (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid ** Changed in: libjna-posix-java (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid ** Changed in: stringtemplate (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to antlr3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877549 Title: [MIR] jython build dependencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/antlr3/+bug/877549/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 877549] Re: [MIR] jython build dependencies
libjna-posix-java has been renamed libjnr-posix-java; this is inline with upstream changes. However build is now maven based so pulls in a load of extra dependencies. The package ships both ant and maven build files so it may be possible to switch back. I'll also look to see if jython could be demoted. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to antlr3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877549 Title: [MIR] jython build dependencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/antlr3/+bug/877549/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 877549] Re: [MIR] jython build dependencies
Two packages b-d on jython: libmx4j-java libbsf-java Jython is an optional build dependency of both so it would be possible to drop this feature in both packages. I highly doubt that anyone is actually using jython with these libraries but I might be wrong.
