[Bug 975321] Re: maas-dhcp ignores input
Hi Erwin, After running dpkg-reconfigure maas-dhcp you need to run maas-import- isos to update all the necessary files. Doing so will *automatically* generate /etc/dnsmasq.conf so you do *not* need to move files anywhere. The reason why it is failing is because you are copying the template file, which is a template and does not contain the correct files. Hope this information helps! Cheers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to maas in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975321 Title: maas-dhcp ignores input To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maas/+bug/975321/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 975321] Re: maas-dhcp ignores input
Problem still exists in 12.04 final. Running dpkg-reconfigure does not solve the problem. Found the settings in /etc/cobbler/dnsmasq.template. Moved the file to /etc/dnsmasq.d/ but now dnsmasq service fails to start. Think I am copying the /etc/dnsmasq.conf file to /etc/dnsmasq.d/ and updating it manually ...
