[Ubuntu-translations-coordinators] [Bug 1452759] Re: departement translations should include all supported locales by default
The translation coverage for departments is not great: https://translations.launchpad.net/software-center-agent/trunk/+pots/devportal Further complicating things, those translations mix user facing strings (departments, highlights) with devel facing strings (as shown in the developer portal where devels submit click packages). I've opened a new bug for the store team to split the translation template, so we can ask translators to focus on just translating user- facing strings: https://bugs.launchpad.net/software-center- agent/+bug/1481901 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Translations Coordinators, which is subscribed to Ubuntu Translations. [Ubuntu-translations-coordinators] [Bug 1351696] Re: %s Features needs translator comment
Looking at the code, I see that the %s Features string is used as a category title in the dash, so it's shown as the title before each group of search results. The %s will be replaced by the source, so it will look like Youtube Features, Vimeo Features, TEDx Features, etc. So, in a sense it will have the same meaning as Feature Presentation when calling the main film in a theater: http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=170490 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Translations Coordinators, which is subscribed to Ubuntu Translations. Also, is this features in the sense of software features, or in the sense of featuring something in a promotional context? Please add a translator comment.
