[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1764087] Re: Wrongly boots into low graphics mode using kernel 4.13.0-38 (mostly works with 4.13.0-37)
I forgot all about this bug until the tag of cscc was added. As reported previously the machine is now running 18.04.2 LTS fairly well. All updates including kernels have been done, Graphics now state Intel® Ironlake Mobile and the /etc/default/grub file contains the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" So all is well with the world. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1764087 Title: Wrongly boots into low graphics mode using kernel 4.13.0-38 (mostly works with 4.13.0-37) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-server/+bug/1764087/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1837723] [NEW] Dock settings for multiple monitors is backwards
Public bug reported: Upon applying a Software Update today, my Dock disappeared from my main monitor. After several minutes of Terminal commands removing, reinstalling, and rebooting I finally discovered the issue. I have two monitors, both on the same video card. One display is connected via HDMI, one is connected via DVI. When I go to the Dock settings, I have to choose the "wrong" monitor to get the dock to display on the monitor I want. I.e., In Dock settings, when I choose Show On: Monitor A, it actually shows up on Monitor B and vice versa. Everything else works and behaves like normal.
