[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1933950] Re: [i915] Black screen when I login in using kernel 5.8.0-59 but not 5.8.0-25
Please don't boot into recovery mode while investigating this bug. Recovery mode is not relevant to the bug. That said, Ubuntu 20.10 reaches end of life this month so upgrading to 21.04 should probably be the next step. That will also give you kernel version 5.11 which might hopefully work better... https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933950 Title: [i915] Black screen when I login in using kernel 5.8.0-59 but not 5.8.0-25 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1933950/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
