[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1987168] Re: Video problems
Thanks for the bug report. The reason you have no resolution options is because the system has booted in recovery/safe mode which disables the graphics driver. You can tell this by the "recovery nomodeset" kernel parameters. Sometimes Ubuntu gets stuck in recovery mode if it was used during install. Please reboot and tap Esc to access the grub menu while you still see the BIOS screen. Then select a non-recovery boot option. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1987168 Title: Video problems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1987168/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
