Public bug reported: Currently, only openCL 1.1 is supported but 1.2 is required by many new programs coming out and 2.0 is already out. Can we get this upgraded? I just tried the latest xorg edgers drivers from their ppa. Same problem with those drivers. This bug also affects Acer 4720z with Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 after upgrade to 11.04. Was working fine in 10.10. Is there a workaround? Perhaps we can regress the driver? Maybe disable Compiz or something? Anything? Anyone?
