Adding this line to kernel command line disables the hardware acceleration which badly affects the performance of the system. Public bug reported: System was freezing after the following errors in the syslog. Only mouse cursor moves. Server was not responding to Ctrl+Alt+Function keys to open sessions. Had to reset to reboot the host.
