1) As per your logs you are using an unsupported kernel:
4.15.3-041503-generic x86_64

If you boot into the Ubuntu kernel, is this still reproducible?

2) After the crash, are there crash files in /var/crash?

3) Did this issue start happening after an update? If so, which
specifically?
