The bug certainly is not happening in X-Plane 12 Demo. Does it still happen for you? Even if it does the original problem seems like either an Xwayland bug or an X-Plane bug. Even if it was an Xwayland bug it doesn't seem to affect other Xwayland apps. Ironically the X-Plane 12 Demo installer refuses to run on my primary Intel GPU.
