[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 884255] Re: [HP G62] System is non-responsive to mouse/touchpad clicks

I have confirmed this in different hardware with similar + set up. + Sometimes, after an undefined amount of time using my HP G62 laptop, system ignores clicks either from mouse or touchpad. Mouse/touchpad movement still works, but not clicks. There's also another problem that appears that Thunderbird keeps opening repeatedly. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 884255] Re: [HP G62] System is non-responsive to mouse/touchpad clicks
I have just experienced the same issue in a completely different computer with very similar set up. After seeing these posts: http://markmail.org/message/rm3pogzilxg7qakl http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1801465page=2 The common factor seem to be the awesome window manager used in conjunction with Gnome. Someone suggested it's related to nautilus. And it seems to be true: when this happens, killing nautilus solves the problem. ** Description changed: Sometimes, after an undefined amount of time using my HP G62 laptop, system ignores clicks either from mouse or touchpad. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 884255] Re: [HP G62] System is non-responsive to mouse/touchpad clicks
Note that, when this happens, I can see with 'evtest' the click events, but they'll produce no effect.
