快了，从命行下，居然启动了，不过有新的问题了，菜单只能看到字母，看不到完整的信息。。

今天才知道Google earth出5.0版了，我下了一个，是.bin文件，我用sudo sh

哈哈，大家对这个网络速度都很吃惊吗？

我也一样。

随便问个事，我装Google Earth 5.0
安装完成后，从菜单里启动程序，窗口一闪后，就自动退出程序了，启动多次都如些，不知道何故，知道的，麻烦说下。

以前用4.3是正常的，这个8.04系统是我重新装的，所以以前的配置文件是不存在的。

还好，我现在给一些客户安装了 ubuntu + wine + 股票分析交易软件 还好了 就是现在ubuntu对硬件越来越高 股票机都是老硬件了

我也是桌面级的，
对服务器类的问题，系统设置上的更深层次的问题没去研究过，想研究呢，又觉得那种工程好像太多了，自己也不怎么用得上。等需要的时候再去研究吧。

能用好桌面就不错了，Windows用户也应该多是桌面用户吧，但能让MS搞到钱，市场巨大呀。

  其实也只不过讨论一些比较初级的问题！什么安装啊，这个软件那个软件了

呵呵，也算是交流呀。

许多用户好像对邮件列表不怎么感冒，都比较喜欢直接点的IM工具呀。

我现在都没什么胆量去升级到8.10了，老觉得速度不怎么行。升级安装，全新安装都搞过，最后还是回到8.04，曾花过两 
天时间将过Fedora，不知道是不是我的设置问题，速度还没Ubuntu快。

目前Ubuntu系列有6.06.2和8.04.2两个在同时服役，其中6.06.2的桌面版将于今年六月份停止支持，而服务器版依然会支持到2011年。

当然对于新部署的机器，选择Ubuntu 8.04.2是最合适的。

Ubuntu 8.04.2修正了大量的Bug，包含了近200个更新。这将保证你安装好的机器就是稳定且不需要作多少更新的状态的。
