The SVG spec places the default origin on the top left of the viewport, and has the co-ordinate system increasing to the right and downwards. Then I changed to "gimp-2.8.22" and tried to build GIMP with "dpkg-buildpackage -b -us -uc". I installed all dependents. At the end of the build some tests are performed automatically. Some tests failed with 'Failed to load "canberra-gtk-module"' (see test- suite.log attachment).
