[Ubuntustudio-bugs] [Bug 2033575] [NEW] lubuntu jammy install; failure re-using existing partition
Public bug reported: lubuntu re-install (jammy daily) on - hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600) system directories were mostly erased (all binary directories anyway). i think the sources included packages.element.io/debian where NO_PUBKEY exists on ISO (it's a 3rd party resource that's why) meaning it's expected & not an error. I'll confirm this I hope shortly, but if/when I do this bug report will be INVALID (maybe I can document something to help users with this issue??) Testing Lubuntu daily ISO dated 30.08.2023
Unable to run Install Lubuntu from desktop as the installer requires
authentication (password).
However was able to run "Install system" from the menu but this resulted in a
crash and failed installation.
Running "ubuntu-bug" also required password but but seemed to run in
background.

This is likely due to the new polkitd dropping support for the old pkla
(polkit local authority) files. Therefore, the lubuntu desktop seed
likely needs polkitd-pkla seeded in order to use those old pkla files to
avoid this.
