[uClinux-dev] EFL libraries on uClinux (arm, no MMU)

2011-03-28 Thread Daniel Tisza

Hi,

I have been working on compiling the basic EFL libraries for uClinux
(arm, no MMU).

Have you heard about anyone getting them up and running on uClinux?
My main interest is in eina, eet and evas from EFL (www.enlightenment.org)

The biggest problem I have been running into is that eina depends on
libdl and uses all of these functions: dlopen(), dlsym(), dlclose(),
dladdr(). AFAIU, libdl is not available for no MMU targets?

I have been using the SnapGear toolchain.

Yours,
Daniel Tisza

[uClinux-dev] [PATCH 1/2 v2] NOMMU: new vcoalesce helper function

2011-03-28 Thread Mike Frysinger
We can't support vmap on NOMMU systems, so add a new vcoalesce function
which combines maps via kmalloc. A bit more overhead, but at least it
works. For MMU systems, vcoalesce simply redirects to vmap.
