As we continue to post the changes in United States, we are being informed
that the Trump administration is fulfilling another election promise
tonight. The Trump administration is going to end the Obama Era program
that protects young undocumented immigrants from deportation in six months.
So if you are in United States under The Obama DACA {Deferred Action for
Childhood Arrivals program} policy, which grants work permits and
protections for so-called Dreamers, or undocumented young people brought to
the U.S. as children, the administration needs you out of United States in
six months. There will be a six-month delay to any enforcement of the
presidents decision, Congress will have to use that gap if they choose to
act, to keep protections for DACA recipients in place. So in six months all
immigrants in United States under The Obama DACA privilege are going to be
asked to leave United States unless Congress passes a law otherwise. If you
are in United States under the Obama DACA program, good luck with John
McCain and Mitch McConnell.
The White House is expected to officially announce this decision on Tuesday.
