If the person interviewing was not deliberatley looking for Baganda, it shows that Baganda still make a large proportion of the people involved in business around and within Kampala. A mini survey by The Monitor in Kampala's business district showed that most shops were open as usual. Most people said they were too poor to celebrate the day.
