[Unattended] 4.8-rc2 and partitioning/formatting the hdd
Hi, at the moment I'm still using the following lines to partition and format the local harddisk of the client I want to install (didn't change them since pre-4.7)... [_meta] fdisk_cmds = fdisk /clear 1;fdisk 1 /pri:4000;fdisk /activate:1 format_cmd = format /y /z:seriously /q /u /a /v: c: What are the prefered commands for using with unattended 4.8-rc2? I'm currently experiencing some really weird bugs where the bootsector of the local harddisk gets screwed up and the machine refuses to boot. Only way to solve this is to run unattended again. :/ Also the mysterious bluescreen I reported sometime last week happened on two other machines after that. The first really had a majorly fucked RAM module, on the second one memtest only found one error but on the third machine no errors where found in the ram module. I somehow really doubt that out of 3 (almost) new machines 3 machines have faulty RAM. The bluescreen always occurs after Windows Setup is done (after the screen with the countdown on the left). Never before that. The error displayed is STOP 0×007e and some other hex stuff but NO filename... Any ideas on this? Never had any problems like this with 4.7. :/ I have no idea, but there is something more somewhere. the T61' is complaining about tsc and a time offset, and I also have noticed that the unpacking of initrd (the dots) are slower on some machines. Even if the machines are brand new with the same spec.
