[UC] 3 properties for sale in district
I'm being sued by Deputy Commissioner Carlton Williams for $1000 again. The bogus trash tickets were coming weekly for a while-5 months late via mail. After June, I will be spending much less time in Philadelphia, but don't plan emigration for a couple years. I will be managing the sales myself, and I am prepared to wait out the recession to sell out. (I want to give the citizens on the list a heads up.) Here is the list. 4300 block, Baltimore, single family house with great original detail 4500 block, Kingsessing, 1st floor apartment, and large 2nd and 3rd floor apartment 200 Buckingham Pl, each floor is separate apartment (These are all twins) I have not started the basement clean-outs etc but can discuss the terms early. I will begin greater advertising after Clark Park is closed. I will not respond to award winning real estate agents associated with Penn Real Estate. If the corporations want the buildings, have your lawyer contact me. Sincerely, Glenn Moyer You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named UnivCity. Re: [UC] Video Library
A spokesperson for Campus Apartments, the company that owns the space occupied by the stores, did not return a request for comment. Oliver Assiran, who bought Video Library from its previous owner in 2008, said he decided to shut down after being unable to afford the rent. I signed the petition against the Campus Inn at the video store. Thanks for the post, Frank. Re: [UC] Video Library
The good news is that Redcap's corner is expanding into their space. Some remnants of the Video Library employees are going to open a video store in the Redcap's space. They are set to move in in February. On Fri, Jan 15, 2010 at 4:20 AM, Frank fcarr...@pobox.com wrote: From the DP http://thedp.com/article/video-store-locust-closed Damn. [UC] Shooting at Bridge Movie Theater
Hi all Been sitting here hearing helicopters and sirens (live on 45th St) and trying to find out what the heck is going on in our area. Apparently, according to 6ABC online there was a double shooting at the Bridge at around 7pm. An Officer assigned to the State Bldg at 8th and Market was shot and so was an unidentified college student. Neither was killed, but both are in the hospital. Here's the link to the online breaking news story: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/localid=7221808 So, don't go near there and keep these 2 people in your thoughts. Wendy
