Re: [UC] Carjacking at 44th Larchwood
On a similar theme, one of my sisters moved back to the city (West Philly), from Lower Merion, after the 5th (or 6th) time her car was stolen from the parking lot of her upscale condo building. And another client moved back from Darby, after a 100 year storm flooded (to the point of failure) their Suburban home, while we in West Philly had to pump a few basements but were otherwise able to carry on with structures still intact. Re: [UC] Carjacking at 44th Larchwood
Re: [UC] Carjacking at 44th LarchwoodWilma and Al, Something is very strange about this particular cross posting. The West report suggests that there are armed criminals at large in this neighborhood. Also that the police had done terrible police work allowing the criminals to return and pick up their car after an armed robbery. Has anyone else heard about this? David's crossing is one of the few that makes sense to me, and I wish to thank him. He is on the censored Penn list, but I don't recall him as being one of the mean-spirited bullies. And this is an example of news so important that even one of the bullies could easily justify this cross posting. Mr. West is a cross poster and has a very established reputation as barking cheese. Several hours after he posted the report of a crime at barking cheese, he posted on this uncensored list that investigation of Ray's employment cloaking it as a news story. The list may remember when I questioned Mr. West's reporting of voteforandytoy. He immediately veiled a threat to investigate me and obviously was digging into my properties and business. I felt this was an attempt to bully because I criticized his post. Here is the civil West post to me: I am a professional news source, just like you are a professional landlord. I talk directly to other news sources for a living. That doesn 't mean I'm always accurate, any more than it means you always obey the law as you acquire your million-dollar real-estate stock. You are free to investigate my livelihood, and I am free to investigate yours. I am busy right now with my main job, so I'd rather not investigate your main job at this time, as that would pay me nothing. Why is Mr. West continuing to attempt to torment his target on this list and now investigate his employment while he does not post the same very serious report of crime here? The West cross posting is the outrageous cross posting I expect from the bullies. Why was the crime report not important for him to post instead? Re: [UC] Carjacking at 44th Larchwood
David, I went to the 18th distrrict. Apparently, the report of a car jacking was false. I will again confirm and report back to the uncensored list. I will not again forward information for you to share with the civil censored Penn list. For your own sake, I suggest that you get away from them. Please inform them that from current reports, the earlier report of armed black men committing car jackings is false. If some young black kid runs in fear from the police because frightened neighbors respond with increased fear, I would feel terrible if I didn't make the best effort to inform even barking cheese. I'm planning to give a copy of your forward to the police. It identifies both lists as well as Mr. West. I will be certain that they understand that you were simply forwarding this to an uncensored list of some 300+ people in good faith. You are unfortunately a witness to all of this. Thanks for sharing this with your neighbors. She was parking her late-model Nissan right at the corner, on Larchwood. Another vehicle, with two slim Black males in it, was also parked at the corner, on 44th St. As the woman was unloading her packages, accompanied by her young son, the two men left their car and approached her. One displayed a gun and told her to give her the keys to her car. They allowed her to keep her money and belongings. Both drove away in her car, leaving their stake-out vehicle parked on the corner. For a glum followup: when the police arrived, the woman pointed out the stakeout vehicle, which was still parked at the corner. The police, however, wrote down the license number of the vehicle in front of it, which belonged to a neighbor. That's the vehicle the police towtruck came and removed! By the time the police returned the neighbor's car, the robbers (it appears) had returned, picked up their stakeout vehicle and driven it away. -- Tony West -- No virus found in this incoming message.
