[Bug 450267] [NEW] telepathy-salut fail to change setting on the fly

2009-10-13 Thread fishor
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: telepathy-salut

If you change you nickname (mission-control) and press aply, salut will
try to reconnect but will fail. To make it work again you need to
disconnect and connect again - IMHO this should happen atumaticly if
press (apply changes) button.

Steps to reproduce:
1. start empathy
2. oped mission-control to edit accounts
3. odit your nickname on salut

connections? (versions of telepathy-gabble if it applies) Does the

Yes i connected from two PC's on same account. I just testet it again
and can confirm, this happens only if second client is on.

 - Did you change your avatar when the bug happened? Or did the bug
happen as soon as you connected?

No.

 It looks similar to http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23684
and it was supposed to be fixed in telepathy-gabble 0.8.5.

I use version 0.8.5-1 . on my second pc i tryed ppa:telepathy with no
lack.

We'd like to forward your bug upstream, however upstream requires
that you first test it against their newer driver code.

To save you the effort of building the driver from source, we've built
packages for the driver and its new dependencies.

So you have a couple options:

  1. Download and test .debs for intrepid, from:
  https://edge.launchpad.net/~intel-gfx-testing/+archive

@Bryce
why xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.5.1 for intrepid is better whan same
version for jaunty?

[Bug 303011] Re: [i945] 2.5.1 driver poor performance

2008-12-19 Thread fishor
If im Correct this is a bug for both kernel and intel driver.
With ubuntu kernel i get 130 fps on glxgears
With vanilla 2.6.28-rc9 i get 380fps

this i have with ubuntu kernel too:
mtrr: no MTRR for d000,1000 found

now i will try to bisect intel driver. Or some body doing this?
